This two-day course will give you the skills and confidence to push your trad climbing abilities on single-pitch and multi-pitch routes. Rock climbing is primarily granite crack climbing in Squamish, so a large portion of the weekend is focused on refining the technique of difficult crack climbing of all styles and approaching challenging leads.
All participants are required to read and sign a release of liability waiver prior to their trip.
This is an advanced course geared towards climbers who are already leading traditionally protected climbs. Participants should already be leading 5.9 or 5.10 of various styles (crack, corners, sport). With this base, we will help you push into climbing higher grades with confidence and proper structure.
