The Terrain

The terrain leading to the Kees and Claire hut is known as the musical bumps. This series of tree-lined ridges provides moderate-angle treed and open treeline skiing up to 500m long. Past the hut, the bigger peaks of the Spearhead Range start – Fissile and Overlord are the centerpieces of this area. Big alpine faces and glaciers are the names of the game.
