Purchase WB backcountry ticket (if needed)

If you do not have a season’s pass you can purchase a backcountry lift ticket here. 

Backcountry tickets must be purchased in advance and are available up to 48 hours from the start of your course.

If you do not purchase a pass from us 48h in advance, you will be responsible for securing a pass from Whistler Resort directly.

Please meet your guide at 8:00am in parking lot #4 unless otherwise indicated in your group email.

Parking Lot #4

There are 6 designated parking spots for Garibaldi Park on the west side of Lot 4 which should be used first, however other stalls in Lot 4 can be used once those are full. Payment is required all year round. Payment should be made on paybyphone.com for Lot #4078 (this is the parking number of Garibaldi Park visitors). It is recommended that you bring a piece of paper to leave on your dash that says “Altus Mountain Guides.”

The Kees and Claire Hut

The Kees and Claire Hut is a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient backcountry hut.  The hut has 38 sleeping spaces divided into 6 sleeping areas.

It is heated, so all you’ll need is a light sleeping bag. The hut is fully equipped with propane stoves, cooking equipment, pots, plates, utensils, etc. Only food needs to be carried in. The hut has indoor composting toilets for your comfort and to minimize environmental impact. The hut has electricity and lights.
