Our Squamish Splitter Camp is a 2-day turbo-boosted crack climbing tour in one of the world's great sites: Squamish.
Join our Expert Guides and Pro Athletes for a high-end look into crack technique from thin to off-width, protection strategies, advanced tips for succeeding on your project or just upping your game. We will visit crags off the beaten path and get into some obscure classics guaranteed to challenge any climber regardless of ability level.
The concept of this camp is to make you a better all-around crack master ready to conquer all the single and multi-pitch objectives on your list.

What You Will Learn
This two-day course will give you the skills and confidence to push your trad climbing abilities on single-pitch and multi-pitch routes. Rock climbing is primarily granite crack climbing in Squamish, so a large portion of the weekend is focused on refining the technique of difficult crack climbing of all styles and approaching challenging leads.

Is This for You?
This is an advanced course geared towards climbers who are already leading traditionally protected climbs. Participants should already be leading 5.9 or 5.10 of various styles (crack, corners, sport). With this base, we will help you push into climbing higher grades with confidence and proper structure.

This course is run over a weekend in the Squamish area. Venues include Murrin and Smoke Bluff park and, of course, the Squamish Chief!
Day 1
Meeting at the Squamish adventure center, 8:30 am. Climbing until 16:30.
Focusing on technical crack climbing skills: Corning techniques and thin crack, efficient multi-pitch skills and getting some pitches. Hand and off-width size cracks. Short multi-pitch climbing working leading and anchor station techniques.
Day 2
Big day! Multi-pitch climbing to push your ability. Angles Crest 5.10c, Grand wall 5.11a, Freeway 5.11c, University Wall 5.12a,
- 2 full days of instruction with ACMG guide
- All technical equipment (shoes, harness, helmet and group gear)
- Lunch
- Transportation to and from the meeting point
Please come prepared to spend the whole day outside in all types of weather. It can be anything from cold in the morning as you will be climbing in the shade to very hot in the sun!
- Full pants or Capris.
- T-shirt or long sleeve
- Warm jacket (sweatshirt, lightweight down jacket)
- Rain/wind jacket (gore-tex)
- Warm hat (for colder days)
- Small backpack (30 litres)
- Sunglasses
- Good shoes; running/gym shoes are fine
- Water, 1 litre
- Food
- Harness, Helmet, Climbing shoes (let us know if you need rentals)
Lunch/Water
Please arrive in the morning with food and drink for the day. This is also available for purchase at the Adventure center
