This is THE classic and most renown ski traverse in the world. A high alpine tour from Chamonix, France to Zermatt, Switzerland over the period of 6 days. Crossing some of the most spectacular mountain terrain anywhere on earth this trip travels through
high mountain passes and wild broken glaciers. We mix perfect alpine descents with European comforts and flare that can’t be found on any other ski trip in the world.
Beginner to Advanced. Good fitness is required as you can expect to travel up hill
on skis 2000 – 7000ft (depending on fitness). Average days on the Haute Route are 6 -8 hours. Previous ski touring experience is highly recommended. Please contact for further details.

April 5 – 12
Day 1: Meet in Chamonix France at our base or arrange with us for a pick up at the Geneva international airport. Dinner meet and greet, Gear check
Day 2: Chamonix ski day, Chamonix is the birth place of modern alpinism and ski mountaineering, spending a full day skiing in the area is de riggeur.
Warm up day we will take the Aiguille du Mid, one of the highest telepheriques in the Alps to 3800m and descent the world famous Valle Blanche. Return to Chamonix for
Day 3: After one of the best ski descents of the trip down the Val d’Arpette to the village of Champex we experience another interesting factor of skiing in Europe. Taxi from Champex down valley to the famous ski town in Verbier Switzerland. Up the Verbier lift system and another skin and ski to the Prafleuri refuge for the night.
Day 4: A shorter day: From the Prafleuri Hut we tour across above Le Lac de Dix and a final steeper skin up to the Cabane des Dix, One of our personal favorite refuges in the alps.
Day 5: Spectacular day! Surrounded by big peaks and wild glaciers we tour up to the Peigne D’Arolla, The highest point on the Haute Route. Another fantastic alpine ski descent leads up to the Vignettes refuge perched high above the Arolla valley.
Day 6: A day of epic proportions! Early start we head out for the biggest day of the whole trip Crossing 7 glaciers, 3 high cols and finally the triumphant ski into Zermatt. Classic Swiss dining and Weissbier awaits.
Day 7: Option to ski around Zermatt before we travel back to Chamonix to wrap up the trip.
