Backcountry Skiing Road Trip
Backcountry Skiing Road Trip is a 10 day backcountry ski trip with an open schedule. Chase the deepest snow through some of the finest ski destinations in Canada, or experience the backcountry at some of Canada’s best ski resorts and ski touring destinations. Start in the Rocky Mountains, home to ski areas such as Lake Louise. Our next stop is the resort of Golden, for some off-piste skiing. Next, backcountry touring and a night in a high mountain hut in Rogers Pass, the heart of it all before visiting Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Midweek, we board a small ferry, and head south into the Kootenay Mountains to visit the Whitewater Ski Resort, Red Mountain and Fernie. Finally finishing our circuit back to the Calgary international airport
Skiers with a sense of adventure, and desire for freedom of the open road in small-town Canada. Must have backcountry ski experience.

$2700 per person
Day 1: Meet in Canmore/Banff, AB or arrange a pickup at the Calgary airport.
Day 2: Day trip in the Rocky Mountains: Lake Louise, Kananaskis Country. Night in Golden, BC
Day 3: Kicking Horse backcountry, and onto Rogers Pass
Day 4: Rogers Pass ski touring and a night at a high alpine hut
Day 5: Rogers Pass ski touring and off to Revelstoke.
Day 6: Revelstoke Mountain Resort backcountry, or possible options include: Private heli-assisted ski touring or snowmobile-assisted ski touring.
Day 7: Travel day to Nelson BC, with a stop at a local hot springs
Day 8: Whitewater Ski Resort in Nelson BC,
Day 9: Another ski day at Whitewater, or off to Fernie, BC
Day 10: Ski Fernie and travel back to Calgary
