Located in Norway at 69° North, the Lyngen Alps are one of the most unique and greatest ski destinations IN THE WORLD. This mountain range offers a lifetime of ski mountaineering objectives that few places on earth can match. The Lyngen Alps are famous for couloir skiing and big steep faces. Intermediate and Advanced skiers will feel challenged and rewarded. The glaciers and summits offer magnificent views of the ocean and fjords. With the ideal time to ski here beginning the end of March and can last all the way to June when you can ski in the sun 24 hours of the day. It is truly a unique experience being able to sleep in and then ski alpenglows at 11 pm in the evening.

The Skiing

Ski touring above the Arctic Circle in the land of the northern lights and midnight sun is something truly unique and exotic.  Imagine skiing in cold arctic powder from the summit of a mountain all the way to the sea.  At 69º North you wake up at noon knowing that if you wanted to you could ski in the sun until 1 am.  Some of the terrain is only accessible by boat, which adds a whole new level to the adventure. Experienced ski mountaineers all over the world covet this destination.  The Lyngen Alps offer challenge and adventure to recreational ski tours and seasoned professionals.

  • Ski the best of the Lyngen Alps!

Day 8, 9

  • Ski around Tromsø! The “Paris of the North” has some amazing terrain. We will stay downtown and have access to some amazing restaurants.

Daylight, Snow quality, and snow stability, the classic spring skiing advantages. Being so far north the sunlight in the true winter months is none existent.  April and May offer the best snow and ampule daylight to complete every ski mission your heart desires.
