The rock was dry today in Squamish!

Today Squamish’s local IFMGA Altus Mountain Guide Crosby Johnston climbed the Apron  on the Squamish Chief.  From Banana Peel all the routes up on the Apron looked dry.  If we get little to no rain, the rock will remain dry thanks to the Howe Sound winds, the warmth of the rock and the dry cracks and ledges that normally hold moisture in the spring.

It turned out to be a sunny warm day with DRY ROCK in Squamish! It did NOT look like this today!!

So get out there and get after it.  Don’t let a few showers scare you away.
